Art Reception at O2 Heaven!

The reception this past Saturday at O2 Heaven was fantastic! The crowd was filled with old and new friends, colleagues, fellow artists, the lovable shop dog, and strangers who became friends. The oxygen bar is delightfully painted in bright colors with whimsical flowers and clouds that fit with much of my work. I want to thank everyone for attending and making the evening what it was, especially those who traveled distances or went out of their way. I was delighted to meet Sue King, Ohio's SAQA Regional Rep, Peggy McDevitt and Beth Schilling, both fellow SAQA members. It was an honor to meet you! The show comes down on August 30th and this has been an experience that I will think of fondly. I hope you enjoy the pics from it!

Upcoming Reception

I'm happy to announce an upcoming reception for my work that is hanging at O2 Heaven, our local oxygen bar. My work is hanging there the month of August. It is a very welcoming place so if your curiosity is piqued stop in and check it out. I'll be there that evening as long as there are people there. : ) If you can't drop in the reception feel free to drop in to see the pieces anytime in August!

This week I'm toying with three different pieces, but have a few others in the back of my mind that deal with more serious issues. Drawings need to get out of my head in the next few days.
